What is Qarit?
Qarit turns any thought into many angles. Type something like "elephants" or "lightning never strikes twice," and Qarit branches it into where it came from, how it works, whether it's a myth, what its opposite is, and more. Fact answers come from Wikipedia, with the source and the exact quote one tap away. Tap "Go deeper" on anything that grabs you.
What do I need?
An iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later), running iOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. Qarit uses Apple's on-device model, so if Apple Intelligence is still downloading, Qarit will let you know and work as soon as it's ready. Answers are in English, from English Wikipedia.
What do the dots mean?
They show how well Wikipedia backs each answer. Verified (●●●): Wikipedia says this directly. Partial (●●○): Wikipedia covers the topic, but not this exact point. Not covered (●○○): Wikipedia doesn't seem to cover this. Cards marked suggestion are ideas to explore, not facts.
Is Qarit free?
Exploring is free, always, including Go deeper, More angles, your five most recent thoughts, and sharing cards. Qarit Plus is a one-time purchase, never a subscription. It lets you save cards and whole thoughts, add notes, search your full history, see when a fact connects to a past thought, and sync with iCloud.
How do I restore Qarit Plus?
On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling, open Qarit, tap the gear for Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Plus with. You can also restore from the Qarit Plus screen.
How does iCloud sync work?
With Qarit Plus, your history, saves, and notes sync across your devices through your own iCloud account, with no sign-up. Sync turns on by itself when your iPhone is signed in to iCloud; you can switch it on or off in Qarit's Settings, where you'll also see when it last synced. If it says you're not signed in, check that you're signed in to iCloud in the Settings app and that iCloud is allowed for Qarit.
How do I delete my data?
- One thought: swipe left on it in Recent or History.
- All history: Settings → Clear history (saved thoughts stay in Saved).
- Everything in iCloud: Settings → Delete Qarit data from iCloud. This removes it for all your devices; this iPhone keeps its copy.
- Everything on this iPhone: delete the app.
Qarit has no account and no servers of its own, so there's nothing else to delete. See the privacy policy for details.
